What's the biggest mistake early stage entrepreneurs and leaders make?
It's not too much focus on product - even though that happens.
It isn't ignoring customer feedback - even though that happens too.
And it's not getting fixated on fundraising - even though that definitely happens.
No - the biggest mistake early stage entrepreneurs and leaders make is 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗻.
When are getting started with a new venture, there is a constant feeling that you need to reach more and more people.
You take coffees and zoom meetings, constantly looking for that next "connection" that might unlock some insight or opportunity you are convinced you need.
𝗔𝗻𝗱 - 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 - 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗸𝘀.
But they are your champions!
𝗦𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴.
I spend countless hours freely helping entrepreneurs because it gives me energy.
I love supporting people who are trying to bring something new to the world - and I know I am far from the only one.
𝗔𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 - 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲.
