I looked at data for mid-sized asset managers, and was shocked by the numbers: - The median manager operates with 18 employees per fund - The 25% least efficient requires 28 employees - Meanwhile, the leanest 75% manage with just 1 employee! Why such a disparity? - Why do some managers need significantly more staff than others?
