Struggling with your online job listings? There's been a significant update from Google that could help you see big improvements in your recruitment strategy. Google’s new reporting system now provides accurate data on the efficiency of your job listings, and it’s a game-changer. The platform counts clicks and impressions separately for job listing and detail pages, giving you insightful data on how users interact with your job posts. This helps you discern which of your listings have a good strike rate and which ones might need a spot of tweaking. When you post a job listing, an impression is counted each time a seeker finds your job post link in their search. A click is counted when they expand the job details. For job details, an impress is counted when a full job description is viewed, and a click is counted when there's interaction, like clicking 'apply now'. But how does this translate into a more successful recruitment strategy? The data from this report does not influence search ranking but it enables you to refine your job listing strategy using SEO. With the insights into job listings performance, you can optimise your ads for better visibility and engagement. Consider using this data to enhance your job listing titles and descriptions. Ensure they're engaging and informative to attract more potential applicants. Remember, a better-crafted job listing equals better visibility and a higher rate of clicking.
