The ongoing racist & islamophobic violence we are witnessing is devastating and deeply upsetting. Future Men stands together with Black and racially minoritised communities, who have been directly or indirectly affected. Future Men is committed to fostering an environment that is actively anti-racist. We condemn all forms of racist views, attitudes, and behaviours. These recent events underscore the urgent need for us to come together for an anti-racist UK where migrants, refugees and asylum seekers have their rights protected and can live in safety. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the young girls that were murdered and those who were injured, support to those impacted by this violence and hate. We urge our community partners and stakeholders to take a stand against these acts of inhumanity. It is only through collective action and solidarity that we can create lasting change. We encourage everyone to stay safe and to show allyship by supporting those affected and challenging the perpetrators of racism, hate, and violence.

In the arena of #familycourt, #childabuse, and #domesticviolence, this is one of the greatest conundrums of our times. One of the main reasons why these systems are so, to be polite, completely broken. Most good, kind, intelligent, and unbiased policymakers, male and female, are the ones most easily manipulated into passing bad policies. All of us, male and female, have an innate desire to protect women and children first. If a woman tells us she is being victimized or her children are being abused, we want to believe her and do what we can to stop and prevent the abuse or DV. Call it masculinity, chivalry, or just the natural instinct to protect those who need it; it’s hardwired into our DNA, especially in men. We want to believe, we want to protect. We want to see the good in people and probably don’t think we’re being lied to or manipulated, especially if the person lying to us is a beautiful celebrity like Angelina Jolie. Jolie was the most prominent supporter and the face of sneaking in Kayden’s Law into the reauthorization of VAWA to the U.S. Senate and House. Senators and Representatives likely fell all over themselves. For those not familiar with Kayden’s Law, its underlying premise is to deny parental alienation and to legitimize false allegations of child abuse or DV. It’s sick, depraved, sexist, and based on lies, falsehoods, and misandry. Like Jolie, there are many villains who masquerade as victim rights and child abuse advocates. They lie to policymakers to make it easier for them, if they so close, to deny their children a loving, safe, and healthy relationship with their father. It’s psychological and emotional child abuse. It’s domestic violence. It’s parental alienation. Policy villains like Jolie are narcissists, child abusers, and DV perpetrators. But they lie to policymakers who fall for it every time because they are good and decent people who want to believe that the person lying to them is good and decent, too. As Jolie and other man-hating feminists peddle their lies, falsehoods, and misinformation, our policymakers must wake up and pass policies that are based on data and science, not lies and hate. The data shows that men and women are equally to be victims of DV and IPV. Women are more likely to be perpetrators of DV, IPV, and child abuse. Women are much more likely to report a false allegation of child abuse or DV. Men and women are equally as likely to be alienated from their child. Please share this post far and wide. Call out the haters, liars, abusers and perpetrators. https://lnkd.in/gQ8KC7BR

Chief Government Affairs Officer at Combat Antisemitism Movement | Dedicated Town Supervisor (Mayor) & Councilwoman with Over a Decade of Public Service | Experienced Estate Planning Attorney
This is exactly why we focus on working closely with mayors to combat antisemitism. When cities fail to address hate, and even fan the flames themselves, the consequences are devastating. We need strong leadership at the local level to create safer, more inclusive communities. Mayors play a critical role in standing up against hate and promoting understanding. Let’s continue pushing for action where it matters most. Combat Antisemitism Movement

16 days of Activism.. Knowing that I owe no one and no one owes me, understanding that I came with nothing and nothing will I go with. Finding out that I am the only person who stays with me forever has granted me absolute peace. Violence starts when we think we owe thing/people and their absence leaves us wanting and when another gets we become intimidated. Ending Violence starts from Knowing we're temporary stewards, that day when our cups run empty all we'll leave are legacies and we'll be remembered as the Nelson Mandale of yourselves, families, clans, regions/ countries/continents. Attain peace for yourself and say NO to violence especially violence against wo/men. #Say No to Colorism. #Say No to Bodism.. #Say No to Agism.

Do you feel a little bit broken? WARNING: The video i am sharing is deeply offensive. But it also features bravery. So please, please, watch. I do. After a weekend where I struggled to put down my phone, watching countless videos of the RACIST, FACIST far right destroy towns, beat, hurt, and try to kill people who look like me, it is hard not to to be a bit traumatised. What has been happening in the UK has nothing to do with the murder of three young girls. It has nothing to do with immigration policy. It has everything to do with fear mongering and racism. There is nothing about it that is a protest. Plain and simple. I'm grateful we didn't see anything in the town I live in. But now, all i think about is will my boys be ok. Are there kids in their schools who are being brought up in households where racism thrives. Will there be kids at their school who will want to hurt them. Because, let's face it, while I know the scenes I'm watching are being caused by a minority who do not represent the majority of people in the UK, how can people that are my colour, or Black or from the Muslim faith not be fearful to walk down the road. Well done to those in the towns and cities that came out in opposition - you risked your lives to say NO. I run a community full of brown and black people. All entrepreneurs. Diversity X remains committed to supporting underestimated founders, and we stand in solidarity with all those who are targeted by these abhorrent acts. We believe in the power of diversity, equity, and inclusion to drive positive change, and we will continue to advocate for a society where everyone is treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their race, ethnicity, or background, gender, disability, age, or socio-economic background. What will you do? What will you do to call it what it is - racist and Islamophobic attacks? I ask because today I feel a bit broken. #antiracism #riots #racism #UK https://lnkd.in/e7R7saBD
