THE HYDROBOOSTER PUMP: I very much appreciate all of the interest that these posts are generating but my apologies for not clearly explaining how we collect the groundwater samples. So, as a follow up to our post on the applications to groundwater and brine exploration I wanted to take a few moments to explain the groundwater sampling part of this technology called the HydroBooster Pump. We originally developed this technology under a research and development contract with the USGS - under the auspices of Dr. John Izbicki. Criteria for the pump design were the following: 1. Equal to or less than 1-inch in outside diameter. 2. No longer than 7-inches in length. 3. Total Dynamic Head: Equal to or greater than 3,000 feet. We accomplished these goals and the technology is now a part of our standard tooling accompaniment. A key advantage about the technology is that it is not sample-limited down-hole. There is no fixed sample quantity or volume and the sampler can be cleaned downhole. Therefore, the sampler and combined UNIPASS system does not need to be retracted from the borehole or well. When this technology is combined with the Tracer Flowmeter, we can calculate zonal flow and collect chem-samples from each depth almost simultaneously - including the data for calculating hydraulic conductivity. In my next upcoming post, I will explain the differences between the UNIPASS technology with the combined Tracer Flowmeter and HydroBooster pump to Straddle Packers. This phytomining with agrivoltaics and carbon removal will be so powerful. It's combining several layers of carbon removal at each step. They are using enhanced weathering of minerals to capture carbon and fertilize farmland to then harvest the biomass and metals in the soil through pyrolysis that can supply generators in long duration energy storage. I've been researching plasma and microwave gasification and also flash joule heating to make graphene. The potential for microgrids for advanced manufacturing with flexible interconnection requirements is huge. This could be done on brownfields and land contaminated with #PFAS to remediate the soil while extracting resources and destroying the hazardous materials. https://lnkd.in/gvg_psyT
