Men think about ancient Rome once a day on average. Maybe that's why we forget our cups? 🤔 Most people want to avoid single-use packaging (54% in May 2024) but it's easier said than done. They're looking to retailers and brands to provide more reusable and refillable options (and 44% are willing to pay a £1 deposit). Swipe below to find out what Brits think about reusable food and drink packaging - all taken from Hubbub's biannual polling of the British public. An important read below from Hubbub - while these numbers may not be super high, it’s a long way from where we were and a step in the positive direction! HOWEVER - now the question is, how do we close the intention - action gap? We know that many people may want to do certain behaviours but actually doing them is another story. What can retailers, brands and governments do to better incentivise sustainable behaviours? We’d love to hear your thoughts below!

Tackling food waste requires us to consume differently, and that can be tough. After all, we're creatures of habit. Which is why we need more creative thinking and applications to help people eat food rather than bin it. Creative environmental campaigns charity Hubbub, supported by Starbucks, has launched the second round of the Eat It Up Fund. So if you or someone you know is working in this space or has a great idea, apply below. #foodwaste #sustainability #environment
