I didn’t want to just post a canned “we are #hiring!” because I don’t think the “why you should join this fantastic company” would shine through enough in that. I want to tell you why I am here. The job search is done, and there are a few things I would like to share. Some of them might even be useful ;-). Let me start with sharing the position I was offered and declined. Not because it wasn't a good fit, it was. Not because the job wasn't interesting, it was. Not because the team wasn't good, it was. Not because work arrangement weren't right, they were. It just happened that one day I got to offer, and chose something closer to my gut. But the position of the new Platform Team manager with Holland Barrett is something what might interest people in my network: https://lnkd.in/es-ZxVAv The hiring process was quick, even with a small hiccup (someone was doubled booked) it took 2 weeks. The interview with Rosie Carr, the hiring manager, was one of the best I've ever had. If Platform Team Manager is not for you, there are more openings. I never thought about H&B as a company with a big engineering team, but it is. They write a lot of software in house. What might be important for many it is a proper "work remote" company.
