Is the future of agriculture indoors? Yesterday, we joined ReGrow Israel’s vision to build a future greenhouse as part of its mission to rebuild and strengthen agriculture in the western Negev. We heard some innovative approaches about how the new indoor facilities will look from Yoram Kapulnik, Adi Dishon, Avraham Arbel, Uri Adler, Abraham Gamliel, and Avital Bechar. We tasted some practical implementations of greenhouse use cases from Ramat Negev Research Center Desert and @Darom Research Center and met some of the Israeli indoor startups and companies: Arugga AI Farming, Tapkit, Grofit | Simply Grow More, Saffron Tech, CoverDolly, @ELVA and BiomicAgritech. Founder, Indoor Vertical Farming financed with Green Bonds
3mo,Sustainability is driving Climate Finance which is being funded by Green Bonds. The industry is in Hypergrowth with Billions of dollars sold every month. In fact, there is a shortage of certified Green Bonds. Local Grown Salads is issuing $100M USD Green Bonds in multiple jurisdictions such as Luxemberg, US, Canada, Afria, and Viet Nam. The Green Bonds are expected to be oversubscribed. The Bonds are issued by a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV). We expect a 10x increase in the SPV valuation on the sale of the Bond. The SPV is open for investment. The Bonds are certified to be aligned with the UN SDGs and are financing a network of Indoor Vertical Farms. The farms grow the vegetables where they are eaten. The vegetables are pesticide and herbicide free, and the farms create good jobs.
