This is to cope with the significant evolution the company has been experiencing in the last years. The new headquarter will be spread over an area of 5500 m²: -2500 m² for Production and Warehouse departments; -600 m² offices located on two floors; -800 m² vehicle transit for loading and unloading goods: -1600 m² green area and internal parking. In order to meet the continuous market demand, the production capacity is going to be extended significantly by investing in latest generation automatic lathes, 5-axis milling machines with larger working tables. In addition, the pump test room will be upgraded by using latest generation equipments, software and a tank water capacity of 46,000 litres. The new production processes layout, the upgraded test station and the larger logistic area will contribute to improve the production time. The step change of the Affetti Pumps occurred thanks to the new R&D activities implemented since 2019 (it has now become an integral part of the development of the company's production program), together with the constant and valuable work done by the new commercial Management. "Born to Grow" was the slogan used in 2012 at the Chemical Exhibition (ACHEMA) which is held in Frankfurt (Germany). The annual Taipei International Cycle Show (TAIPEI CYCLE), held from March 6th to March 9th, 2024, at Nangang Exhibition Center Halls 1 and 2, was a grand success. It attracted a total of 950 domestic and international exhibitors, utilizing 3,500 booths. The exhibition scale has grown by nearly 15% compared to last year and 5% compared to pre-pandemic levels. Internationally renowned brands such as MERIDA, GIANT, KMC, SRAM, and SHIMANO were all present. This year's exhibition centered around four main themes: "Micro Mobility," "Green Practices," "Innovation and Startups," and "Cycling Culture and Lifestyle," showcasing the complete industry chain and echoing the global trend towards sustainability with various activities. The Taiwanese bicycle industry experienced a decline in both the export volume and value of complete bicycles and parts in 2023 due to inventory adjustments. However, industry experts predict that the worst may be over, with expectations of inventory digestion in the latter half of this year. As the bicycle industry aligns with the global trends of sustainable decarbonization and healthy active living, it is expected to continue growing in the future. On April 22 - 25, the Flemish network of enterprises Voka - Kamer van Koophandel Limburg and Voka - Kamer van Koophandel Vlaams-Brabant, together with representatives of several companies from the Flemish region, namely the Pami Workspace Designers, Silmaco NV, Zenith Graphics, Reynaers Aluminium, Hydroko nv, JSR Micro NV, Ometa, ProLux, and PwC partook in an Industry 4.0 & Sustainability trendtour to Porto’s metropolitan area (Portugal). This business mission had as main goals the sharing of best business practices and to improve the #knowledge in areas such as #productivity, #efficiency optimization and #sustainability initiatives in order to foster the mutual learning and potential for #collaboration between Portuguese and Belgian companies from the Flemish region. VOKA’s Industry 4.0 Trend Tour featured visits to different Portuguese industrial research centers - INESC TEC & INEGI driving science & innovation - and the following manufacturing companies - Amorim Cork, Bosch Industrial Portugal, Vista Alegre, IKEA INDUSTRY Portugal, Critical Manufacturing and STA - Aluminium Components. Space application opens for Singapore showcase... The ITMA ASIA + CITME, Singapore 2025 exhibition has attracted high levels of interest since it was announced in Milan last June. Drawn by the regional market opportunities, many leading textile technology brands are looking forward to applying for their booth space when online space application opens on 9 April 2024. The Singapore edition, which is owned by CEMATEX (the European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers), China Textile Machinery Association (CTMA) and Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT (CCPIT-Tex), is scheduled to be held at the Singapore Expo from 28-31 October 2025. According to the show owners, there has been a huge increase in enquiries from machinery manufacturers, as the Singapore exhibition targets not only South and Southeast Asia, but the important markets in the Middle East.
