Assume you will have neurodivergence on our teams (because you probably do, even if you don’t know it) and actively, intentionally create environments that will support them.” Nate Shalev, Diversity and Inclusion Specialist [ ID: Relay Resources employees positioned at tables assemble materials in our Supply Chain Solutions facility. ] #Accessibility #WorkplaceAccommodation #pdxJobs #Portland #AccessibleWorkplace #DisabilityInclusion #Inclusion #HireMyStrengths #TheBarriersWeFace #InclusionRevolution #DisabilityEmployment

National Inclusion Week is just one week away! Inclusion has time and again been proven to make business sense, and organisations with more engaged employees see the results in their bottom line. However, caring in the workplace is often late to be included in this conversation - or left out altogether. This is despite consistent statistics showing that caring leaves individuals more likely to suffer from poor mental health, or ultimately have to drop out of the workforce. If a company wants to be truly inclusive, they need to include carers in their inclusion and engagement work. Want to explore what you can do as an organisation? Get in touch to see how we might support you. Let’s make inclusion of carers the norm, rather than the exception. #NiW2024 #nationalinclusionweek #inclusion #caring
