How to get your product into dispensaries: When I used to sell my health food product into Whole Foods the number one thing they wanted to know was how was I going to make them money! I spent every day at a different Whole Foods doings demos and selling ad many units as I could. And It worked Find out which days of the week the dispensary has the most foot traffic Find out what day they’re running any promos , if your a flower brand go on the days they have a sale on flower. Make the customers day better in some way shape or form so they associate your product or brand with a better day. Rinse and repeat. We grew to 90+ locations in 10 months. So get a demo team or yourself over to the dispensaries, engage with the customers and sell. If you make the product move and generate sales you will be a dispensaries best friend. #cannabis

Index’s BioTags - microscopic barcodes crafted from baker’s yeast - would have allowed us to get to the bottom of this issue quickly. Unlike traditional batch tracking at the manufacturing level, BioTags offer a unique advantage in situations where packaging or digital records are unavailable, or infeasible. This is particularly relevant for dry processed goods like cinnamon, often transported in bulk. Applied at the cinnamon manufacturer or blending facility, BioTags could have significantly sped up the resolution process, answering the industry's current questions more efficiently. By integrating BioTags at the source, we can maintain an incorruptible chain of custody, ensuring traceability even when conventional methods fall short. This advanced approach is especially valuable for complex scenarios involving multiple suppliers, processing, and distribution stages. In addition to the food safety benefits, we’re advocating for food manufacturers to make use of BioTags and their accompanying insurance products. This approach would facilitate rapid investigation protecting human health. Adoption would also significantly reduce the scope and financial impact of recalls, offering a dual benefit of enhanced crisis response and financial risk mitigation - a full-stack solution.
