We recently hosted Summer Collaboration Day ‘24 at our head office in Toyosu. The event brought together around 200 employees, including CEO Hidetoshi Shibata, for a day filled with craft beer, rock music and team building. The event aimed to show our appreciation for our employees and foster stronger relationships among colleagues who don't see each other in person often due to telecommuting.
The event was a great success and we're excited to bring this social event to all Renesas Group locations in Japan from August to September 2024. We look forward to hosting more localized events in the future and continuing to strengthen our teams throughout Renesas.

Here’s us (the Kinjo Tech team) having dinner with our partners from Lenovo Indonesia after we took part in their Lenovo Digital Workplace Solutions conference.
Hustle and hard work are important, but we value the importance of connecting with others even more.
As our founder Charles Springgay says, “People help people.”
And so we focus on connecting, collaborating, and helping one another out.

Face-to-face interactions are invaluable. They transcend screens and pixels, allowing us to connect on a deeper level.
It has been a while since we last met our Emerging Markets colleagues and it was on such a visit last week that we witnessed firsthand how our colleagues in Turkiye work, their passion, and their commitment to excellence. These interactions fostered trust, strengthened relationships, and ignited a sense of camaraderie. 🤝
During this exchange visit, our team soaked up knowledge like sponges! We shared best practices, explored innovative approaches, and learned from each other. Whether it was a brainstorming session in the vibrant office or a casual chat over Turkish tea, we discovered fresh perspectives that will elevate our work across the South East Asia 2 cluster. 🚀
Turkiye’s dynamic market provided us with a treasure trove of ideas. We observed consumer behavior, studied local trends, and discussed strategies with our Turkiye counterparts. These insights will shape our growth initiatives, ensuring
Logitech remains at the forefront of innovation in our region. 💡
As Cluster Head for SEA2, I’m immensely grateful for this experience. Our team returned with more than just memories—we gained inspiration, connections, and a renewed sense of purpose. Together, we’re poised to achieve great things! 🌟
Thank you, Polina Anokhina Denis, Sinem Erdogmus Yavuz, Cihan Onal, Gülşah Civil and Logitech Turkiye, for hosting us with warmth and hospitality. Let’s continue to collaborate, innovate, and thrive! 🙌

Did you know that the distance from Detroit to Vilnius equals to approximately 16 million steps? 👟
Throughout May – the anniversary month of Strategic Staffing Solutions International, our team competed in a very special walk15.app challenge. Since the goal was to commemorate the milestone of 25 years in Lithuania, we set to walk 25 million steps, which coincidentally was the approximate numbers of steps from #S3 headquarters in Detroit, to #S3I headquarters in Vilnius and back!
How did it go?
🌎 25 teams from all around the globe competed in the challenge
♻️ 2161 kilograms of CO2 were saved
🌳 60 000 virtual trees were planted
Even though we made it only to Vilnius with 16 822 419 steps as the result, it was a great team building experience, uniting colleagues from different cities and countries. Now we have another challenge to come back to Detroit – 30 years in Lithuania might be just the right occasion! 🏁
New Danish business sets up office in Prague #EuropeanSiliconValley 👨💻
Danish family-owned IT company Unit IT is opening its first international office in Prague´s PORT7 under the leadership of Fritz Øhlenschlæger.
Unit IT aims to hire 45 colleagues this year. Many different positions for both Danish-speaking and English-speaking employees are OPEN!
⏺ Why Prague?
More than 50,000 IT professionals live and work in the greater Prague area.
⏺ Who is Fritz Øhlenschlæger?
He has lived and worked in the Czech Republic for the past five years. He previously led the Czech the LEGO Group model factory as Global Head of Operations, later Vice President and General Manager. Then, he spearheaded the establishment and growth of Itadel A/S and itm8 offices in Prague, which now employ more than 150 IT professionals.
⏺ What does Fritz think about the Czech workforce?
“I find that the workforce in the Czech Republic often holds a unique drive, closely linked to the people being young, talented, and motivated individuals from diverse backgrounds across CEE. They come to Prague not just for career purposes but also to build a fulfilling personal life. This makes the social aspect even more paramount. In my experience, to successfully establish and nurture an office with 10-20-30 nationalities under one roof, it is crucial to find common ground and draw on a shared culture and goal. That makes working with people in Prague a unique joy and something I wouldn’t trade for anything.”

During my recent visit to Tokyo, I stumbled upon these thought-provoking posters at a subway station that truly resonated with me.
🔧 Left Poster, showcasing a well-organised set of tools, with the message: "We perform daily maintenance to keep our tools in perfect condition, ensuring that we can carry out our work with precision and care." It’s a powerful reminder that regular upkeep is key to maintaining high standards in our work.
🧤 Right Poster, featuring rows of carefully hung gloves, emphasizing the message: "We treat our tools with great care because they are essential to our work. Proper maintenance and organization are fundamental to what we do." This speaks volumes about the respect and attention given to even the smallest details.
These visuals are a powerful reminder of the Japanese approach to work—where diligent care, respect for tools, and attention to detail are ingrained in everyday practice. It’s an inspiring lesson on the value of discipline and consistency in our professional and personal lives. 😊

You might have asked “How exactly does rested mind help increase Milan’s productivity?” when you read my last post.
A very short answer is (since I’m still vacationing) that my mind leaves the routine and traditional thinking when rested and gets on autopilot. What means that it starts putting things in order and with no additional effort, I better realize where and how I can make bigger impact.
More later when I’m back home and at work.
Posing the question: "Does a Hybrid work model hinder the creation of meaningful workplace relationships?"
Hey LinkedIn fam! 🚀
So, picture this: I had the awesome opportunity to arrange to take one of our new hires out for what we at VeecoTech call a "Buddy Lunch" – a chance for them to meet some of our core team members and feel right at home from the get-go. What started as a cosy lunch for four quickly turned into an impromptu gathering, with a whopping 70% of our Penang office joining in on the fun!
Now, here's the kicker: despite us being spread across different departments and some of us working remotely, the sense of camaraderie was palpable. It got me thinking – does the hybrid work model really affect workplace relationships? Well, from where I'm standing, absolutely not!
In fact, I'm more convinced than ever that the hybrid setup has only pushed me to get more creative and intentional with how we connect.
I love having the opportunity to create these connections not just for myself but for my team members as well.
#hybridwork#veecotech#team
As a seasoned remote professional, I can only fully endorse this message 😉
Jokes apart, having the right set-up (desk and well-thought work environment) and knowing how to spend the right time in it is key for balancing productivity and health!
