This was an awesome project, with a 3 month deadline which would have been impossible without the collaborative, "can do" attitude of Dipula.

Dipula Income Fund Ltd (DIB) embarked on a transformative journey with REO and EOH to reimagine Montrose Place at Waterfall Park, Midrand, as an eco-conscious, socially responsible workspace. Leveraging the expertise of local small contractors, REO not only completed the building's 4,000-square-metre fit-out but also crafted bespoke furniture on-site, setting a new standard for sustainable office design. Izak Petersen, CEO of Dipula, heralded a paradigm shift in tenant relationships, praising EOH and REO's shared ethos. This project not only met the tenant's needs but also empowered local businesses, contributing to skill development and job creation, in line with Dipula's commitment to community upliftment. Since 2019, EOH and REO have been at the forefront of creating dynamic, flexible office spaces while streamlining property portfolios. Demonstrating their commitment to corporate social responsibility, furniture from vacated buildings was repurposed and donated. Montrose Place now serves as the flagship location for EasyHQ, seamlessly integrating call centers with collaborative hub spaces. Diana Hingeston, Executive at REO Consulting, commended the collaborative effort, underscoring the project's community-centric approach. The "Anywhere Factory" concept, emphasizing locally sourced materials and artisanal craftsmanship, exemplifies REO's dedication to creating distinctive, competitive office environments. The result is a modern industrial aesthetic, characterized by custom steel and pine furniture crafted on-site. This flexible workspace design promotes productivity and collaboration while prioritizing employee well-being. The success of this project has sparked interest from other small businesses, highlighting the potential for customized solutions in commercial settings. By aligning with brand values and fostering a sense of ownership, these initiatives contribute to a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture. Petersen emphasized the broader societal impact, noting the project's role in job creation and economic development. Furthermore, by supporting local artisans and promoting sustainable practices, this initiative contributes to the long-term resilience of South Africa's economy. The collaboration between Dipula, REO, and EOH has redefined office space design, setting a new standard for sustainability and social responsibility. By prioritizing collaboration, creativity, and community engagement, this project demonstrates the power of partnership in driving meaningful change within the real estate industry. The success of Montrose Place serves as a testament to the value of investing in sustainable, locally sourced solutions. Initiatives like this have the potential to shape the future of commercial real estate, creating spaces that not only meet the needs of tenants but also contribute to the overall well-being of communities.
