In a monumental development that's set to change the landscape of New Braunfels, Texas, a 50-acre project is all set to move forward after clearing a significant regulatory hurdle. This project, located at the gates of the iconic Gruene Historic District, definitely signals an exciting time for the local community and the development sector. Here are some insights on the development: - The 50-acre property carries the opportunity for coordinated efforts to revamp crucial urban infrastructure along the city’s prime historic chokepoint. - It signals an upswing in the construction industry, indicating bolder investor appetite for ambitious projects. - The expected influx of commerce and residency in this area stands to bolster the local economy at a more accelerated pace. As we look into the future, we can anticipate some potential ripple effects: - Sensitive and adaptive reuse of the site could see it transformed into an economical and social hub – adding another layer to the tourism magnet that is the Gruene Historic District. - Increased development can translate to rising housing prices, and therefore, might also echo a potential challenge for affordable housing in the region. - The heightened activity in the area can act as a catalyst for increased traffic along with it mildly impacting the charm of this historic district. Nothing promotes growth quite like successful urban development, and this project stands as a testament to the fact. However, the key lies in maintaining a delicate balance between modern needs and conservational interests. The onus is now upon the developers, planners, and the local community to translate the project’s potential into a progressive yet considerate upgrade for the Historic District. #UrbanDevelopment #HistoricalPreservation

The #BTR sector continues to demonstrate its transformative power, turning previously overlooked areas into vibrant communities. It is great to see regeneration in action! 🏙️ The developments in Leeds, including UNCLE Living and #TheJunction, are prime examples of how strategic investments can revitalise urban spaces and create new neighbourhoods. Well done to the teams making this transformation happen! #UrbanRegeneration #RealEstate
The power of #BTR to unlock #regeneration and stimulate transformation.... This view shows how a new neighbourhood is forming to the west of Leeds city centre. Pictured in the foreground is our second #Leeds project, designed by Carey Jones Chapman Tolcher (CJCT) and on site with RG Group, which we're delivering in partnership with Bridges Fund Management Ltd. for Realstar. Just behind you can see our recently completed first phase, now operating as an UNCLE Living community. This is adjacent to City Developments Limited's #TheJunction, and the beautiful landscaping of the refurbished Monk Bridge Viaduct which links to a safe walking route into Wellington Place and the city centre. This is a great example of the power of #BTR to unlock regeneration projects and transform an area that was previously unloved and unused. Thanks for this photo Daniel Roberts of Glenbrook!

Why do we have to continually destroy our past and demolish perfectly serviceable, characterful buildings that with not too much imagination could makes great work/live communities and no doubt replace with boring modern boxes? #reuse #repurpose #oldbuildings #historicbuildings #sustainabledevelopment #NewtonAbbott #planning
We are deeply concerned by Teignbridge Council's decision to demolish the historic Bradley Lane Mills in Newton Abbot using permitted development rights. These Victorian-era buildings are a valuable part of the town’s heritage, and their demolition would permanently sever this link to Newton Abbot’s past. HB&P, together with other heritage organisations, calls on the Council to halt this premature demolition. Instead, we advocate for a sustainable, conservation-led approach that supports regeneration while preserving the unique history of this site.
