#InternationalDayOfTheGirlChild In commemoration of the International Day of the girl child, UNICEF, MINPROFF and Teenalive together with other partners like #REVACAM and other NGO’s, community and church leaders came together to celebrate the day with young adolescent girls from Missellele and mile 14. The celebration which was graced with the presence of the Regional delegate for women’s empowerment and the family was filled with meaningful dialogues on sexual violence, child labour and protection as well as panel discussions on the theme of the day; “Girl’s vision for the future”. Fun-filled activities like poetry, spoken word performances, drama, music, games and dancing were brought forth by these young girls. #SickleCellAwarenessBacktoSchoolCampaign With aim of raising awareness about sickle cell disease, promote understanding, and provide support to students living with the condition as they return to school, REVACAM'S health department was honoured to partner with LAAC for a powerful sickle cell awareness raising and back to school campaign at Government High School Bokwango Buea. Our health experts didn't fail to pass key messages like; Sickle cell disease is a manageable chronic condition, Early detection and proper care improve quality of life, Awareness and understanding reduce stigma. REVACAM'S health department was honoured to partake in the planification meeting organised by Love Arena Association Cameroon -LAAC , for an essential program. The meeting was opened by Mr. Agbor Francis, President of LAAC , who welcomed everyone and outlined the purpose of the session for a health project implementation. The agenda for the meeting was reviewed, and the importance of thorough planning for a successful program was emphasized. Overall objectives of the program were revisited to ensure alignment among the team. Team members reviewed the timeline to identify any potential conflicts and ensure feasibility.
