For so many people, RGF Connect is a chance for a brighter future. In the USA we are dismantling the barriers that the U.S. workforce has put up against second chance hiring of Americans with criminal records. In Belgium, thanks to RGF Connect, more and more employers are seeing the opportunities of hiring people with hearing impairments. In Japan RGF Connect is a bright light of hope in society by helping children get a better life through training and job initiatives for single mothers. #employment #equalopportunities #rgfconnect #anniversary RGF Staffing Belgium Staffmark Group Staff Service Group

Quote from RTPI : Neurodiversity, amongst other unique characteristics, is about thinking ‘differently’. But doesn’t thinking differently bring a new perspective to ‘problem-solving and decision-making’, ‘creativity’ and ‘innovation’? Neurodiversity can be a competitive advantage if the individuals’ strengths and skills are properly harnessed. Yet the neurodiverse population has remained a largely untapped talent pool. There is a compelling case for why the provision of accessible and inclusive employment for neurodiversity should be an urgent priority.

Question to our fantastic panelists 👏👏👏 Karin Stierlin, taboobreaker association Rebeca Revenga Becedas, IAMANEH Schweiz I Suisse, Selina Baumberger, Direktion für Entwicklung und Zusammenarbeit, Dr. Venkatraman Chandra-Mouli 👇 ❗ Sustainability is an ever-occurring challenge. How can we reach #sustainability and scale in our innovative #SRHR projects? Here are some of the reflections: 👉 Engaging and building trust within communities, involve and strengthening collaborations with researchers, local partners, civil society and stakeholders and be aware that this is a lot of work and takes time. 👉 Reaching sustainability is a step-by-step process especially with delicate topics like #SRHR education. You need to listen to the #adolescents and to reiterate time after time. 👉 You need a long-term vision, but on the other side you should always have in mind that contexts are changing constantly and we need to be flexible to adapt to a new context 👉 Be self-critical and reflect after each phase of your project what are the positive and what are the negative lessons learned. 👉 Changing attitudes needs a long time and to be effective we need to be in a region for a long term. But on the other hand, we are bound to funding systems that don’t operate that way. We need to advocate for an understanding that if we want to make things happen we have to work in a region more than just 1-4 years. ➡ Are we ready to learn from our failures? We all failed. Can we get to talking about it? ➡ Are we ready to kill these innovations that don’t work? #AYSRHR #SRHR4All #ICPD30 #GlobalGoals #SRH #SRHR #youthvoices #SRHRmatters #youthmatters #GBV #Genderbasedviolence #digitalviolence #mentalhealth #childmarriage, #girlsrights & #youthdevelopment #TeenagePregnancies

The disparity between ability and employment is starkly seen in our Impact Report. 88% of our consultants have a bachelor’s degree or higher and yet 64% were unemployed before joining auticon, furthermore 55% of that group had been unemployed for more than a year … evidence that the labour market is often difficult for autistic and neurodivergent people to access. In Aotearoa, it’s estimated that the unemployment rate for neurodivergent people is 50% – a figure eight times higher than non-disabled people, and the highest rate for any disabled group. This is often due to lack of understanding of neurodivergence or workplace support. According to a Diversity Works study, just 15% of employers had recruitment practices to support neurodiverse talent. This week is Neurodiversity Celebration Week (NWC). The NCW website has a series of free webinars across a variety of topics, many of which are aimed at supporting employers to become more accessible to those who are neurodivergent. Fostering neurodiversity in the workplace has many benefits for communities and organisations alike. #NCW2024 #NCE24 #NeurodiversityCelebrationWeek #NeurodiverseEmployment

Dear Youth, The future is in our hands, and it's time to take meaningful action to improve the quality and quantity of jobs available to young people. We are standing at a crucial juncture where our collective efforts can create a lasting impact that will resonate for generations. Young people today face unprecedented challenges in securing meaningful employment. From rapidly changing job markets to economic uncertainties, the obstacles are significant. However, with these challenges come opportunities for us to drive positive change. By joining forces, we can develop innovative solutions and strategies that will not only provide more jobs but also ensure they are high-quality, fulfilling, and sustainable. Our mission is clear: to build a supportive ecosystem where young people can thrive, learn, and grow. This means investing in education and training, fostering entrepreneurial spirit, and advocating for policies that support job creation and worker rights. We need to collaborate across sectors—businesses, educational institutions, governments, and non-profits—to create a comprehensive approach to youth employment. We must also lead by example. Our actions today will set the precedent for future generations. By demonstrating our commitment to improving job prospects for the youth, we establish a pattern of responsibility, innovation, and compassion that will guide them as they step into their roles in society. Let's inspire them by showing that when we come together with a shared vision, we can overcome any challenge. Now is the time to act. Let’s join forces, share our knowledge, and pool our resources to create a world where every young person has the opportunity to succeed in a career they are passionate about. Your engagement and dedication are crucial to making this vision a reality. Together, we can build a legacy of prosperity and hope. Let's make a difference today, for the generations of tomorrow.
