NATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP WEEK, DAY 1! 👷♂️ Meet our apprentice Groundworker Joshua Attard who has been employed by Y Prentis since July 2023 and is gaining his experience from our host Yourspace Projects. 'Why did you choose to do an apprenticeship instead of full-time college?' "I chose an apprenticeship because I had the choice to be more hands-on in my chosen field and gather more knowledge and experience than I would in full-time college. Another reason for picking an apprenticeship was to be able to get paid and earn a wage for work/ practice during my learning time as an apprentice." 'What advice would you give a young person considering their future?' "My advice for a young person considering their future is to just take that initial first step as soon as possible, I regret myself not getting started on an apprenticeship and developing my skills In the trade as fast as I could've."
