Do EAs really need appreciation? The answer is a resounding 'Yes'. EAs are more than intermediaries applying their heart and soul in the organization through their dedication which often is unrecognized. Yet, they maintain calm and self-motivation despite stress. Recognizing their efforts is crucial for their motivation, improving their performance and career satisfaction.   During the recent IAA week, we requested feedback from managers of nominated Executive Assistants (EAs). The responses were overwhelmingly positive, revealing that while many EAs feel unappreciated, their managers highly value their contributions.  This feedback underscores the strong work ethic and motivational boost for the EAs. Back in June, as we were introducing our Organizational Priorities 2023 - 2026 at Philip Morris International we also launched the # OneP&C Chats series to bring our People & Culture community together for ongoing open conversations. Our recent session was dedicated to the P&C Operating Model Evolution as an enabler of our people and business success. George Partsakoulakis, Hitesh Aggarwal and I had a rewarding opportunity to talk to and hear from almost 500 colleagues who joined us.  Our aspiration is to build simple, global and standard solutions to improve the way P&C operates. All to better serve our employees all over the world and hence ultimately contribute to our business performance.   It has been a two-year journey of genuine teamwork and co-creation to define what we want to be as a function. We also had to determine the P&C Operating Model main pillars to mirror Regional, Category and Functions set-up and to match clear and distinct accountabilities, responsibilities and ways of working with the right capabilities at the right place and time. And I’d like to thank everyone whose feedback, ideas and hard work have brought us here and fueled our journey forward.  As a part of my own reflections, may this message be a simple reminder of how important it is to make time to communicate, address the questions, listen to, and bring the whole team on board on every aspect of the company’s strategy.
