What are the current successes for finding golf tournament sponsorships in this current economy?

Croke park v Lansdowne road…? Like Irish unity there’s a thought you’d think might never happen. However, money always talks. It could solve a lot of problems- 1. Athmosphere “Compared with the regular Six Nations crowd, the World Cup attendees were younger and more boisterous, drawn from across the spectrum of sports. When it comes to spring, many of those supporters find themselves locked out by the model that sees the union distribute their tickets through the clubs, who often bundle at least some of them and sell them to corporate entities and travel companies. The income they generate funds the sport at a local level, but an additional capacity would allow the union to investigate ways to tap into the latent interest from the World Cup” Enjoyment- It will stop the boozers in the stands destroying the enjoyment of the others. Far more can attend. Money- It would generate a lot more, and perish the thought, the IRFU might even reduce prices to encourage real fans. So how about leaving the RDS and Lansdowne road? Allow Leinster use it. The GAA use it. More Concerts. As the IRFU don’t really care about their Patrons once they get their money that won’t be an issue. They side step a changing culture towards boozing.

Who didn't love putting contests as a junior golfer? Playing against your friends for £1, for golf balls or event for a plate of chips, these were serious events. They were more than that though, they allowed us to bond over short contests whilst working on the most important parts of our games. They made us feel like we belonged as part of the junior golf scene at our clubs. In our 11th White Paper, we addressed the issue of belonging. Making new golfers feel like they belong as part of the golfing community is crucial to grow our sport. One idea is to build leagues at your club so that people we can foster this feeling of fun competition and build that feeling of belonging. What You Didn’t Know About Augusta National Golf Club? (The US Masters, April 11-14, 2024) Cheapest tickets for each of the three practice rounds are going for just over $1,200 with individual day tournament passes starting between $2,000 and $2,500. The 4-Day pass gets you access to all four of the tournament rounds. Membership is strictly by invitation: there is no application process. In 2004, USA Today published a list of all the current members. Membership is believed to cost between $100,000 and $300,000 and annual dues were estimated in 2020 to be less than $30,000 per year. Masters tickets are considered the second-hardest to obtain in sports, trailing only the Super Bowl. Tickets — or badges — are cheap if you are lucky enough to be a patron or win the annual lottery which opened on June 1. If you don't get tickets directly from Augusta National, be prepared to spend thousands. Augusta National Golf Club is a private club and is only accessible to club members and their guests. The public may visit the course only during the Masters Tournament and only with the proper ticket or badge.
