VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE: 1.) TSU - I participated in Teens Speak Up with The Epilepsy Foundation to speak to congresspeople about upcoming issues that would effect the population of people with Epilepsy. 2.) AWARENESS - I coordinated an Epilepsy awareness volleyball game at Chapel Hill High School that raised money for The Epilepsy Foundation. We raised over $6000! 3) COACHING - I volunteered as a coach for younger kids learning to play volleyball. I taught the fundamentals to those aspiring to learn the sport I love the most.

Me: Er, yeah OK The next 6 weeks are among my busiest of the week so far workwise… So, why not pile something else on top?! 🙄 Over the next 8 weeks, I’ll be swimming 21 miles to raise money and awareness for Macmillan Cancer Support as part of their 2024 Swim It challenge. You probably won’t be too surprised to hear that I have a plan and that I’ll be steadily working my way through my plan to tick off the miles…I’m already 12% in, only another 18.6 miles to go.
