When training new hires in records management, I always emphasize how subtlety important accurate preservation of history is. In this example, if we didn't have on record how diverse the 19th-century West was we'd only have Hollywood depictions to rely on. An unreliable narrator at best!

Lamin Deen - Sergeant in the British Army, serving 24 years in Bosnia, Kosovo, and Northern Ireland. As a professional athlete he competed in the 2014/2018 Olympic Games.
