"Giving...acknowledges the Universe as truly abundant. Giving taps into the spiritual dimension that multiplies us, our thinking 🧠 and our results”✅.
There is an ocean 🌊 of abundance and one can tap into it with a teaspoon 🥄 , a bucket 🪣 or a tractor trailer 🚛. The ocean doesn't care" - from the book, The One Minute Millionaire: The Enlightened Way to Wealth.
There's a lot of talk about giving these days.
And why it's important for the cause you are giving to. And yes, it is, full stop 🛑. There are so many incredible missions in the world that we can support and amplify. 📢
AND, giving has another powerful dimension we cannot always see right away.
It unlocks 🔐 us from our worthiness conversations, opens us to abundance in our lives, with our money, 💵 and our business. 💼
Giving doesn't deplete, it FUELS ⛽️.
We grow what wr have when we give to missions greater than ourselves.
Now, imagine you have the opportunity to change someone's life for the better.
Imagine having a generational, societal, and community impact.
Imagine making a gift that pays infinite returns....
Walsh College empowers the business and technology leaders of today and tomorrow.

NONPROFIT FUNDRAISING TEACHABLE MOMENT - Years ago the boys had a group of friends who wanted to learn how to play basketball. So we started a clinic for those kids to teach the basics. A few years later, we all went in our own directions to play on different travel teams. However, a few times a year, this group of kids get together on the SAME team (Surge Elite) to play in a few tournaments.
That says something to me. The fact that these kids will stop what they are doing with THEIR teams, so they can come back together and play on the same team again . . . . is something special. It tells me that it's not about basketball. It's not about wins or losses. It's about relationships and friendships. They don't NEED to be part of Surge Elite, they WANT to be part of it.
If you base your interactions with your donors on the "wins/losses" of their gifts, then you are being nothing but transactional. What are you doing to build a TRUE relationship? Have you ever asked how you could be a help to THEM? Would you interact with that person whether they donated money or not? Do your donors feel like part of your team? Do they feel NEEDED or WANTED? #nonprofitleadership#nonprofits#fundraising
Good morning!
Stepping outside of your personal routine and setting time aside to do something good for your local community is always a questionable return value for ourselves. We always wonder if donating our time is 'worth' it and then we are surprised when we learn that donating that time was worth it. Something good always happens and it never comes in a dollar amount.
New Jersey United Athletic Club is working to serve the community by launching the Soccer Ball Support Fundraiser. This initiative is working to raise funds in order to purchase new soccer balls for underfunded youth soccer programs.
They need all of us to help them spread the word about this initiative and to spread awareness to teams and youth clubs that need the assistance!
Ways to help (excluding a donation):
1) Share this post with family, friends & co-workers.
2) Check out https://lnkd.in/dV-tY36t to learn more.
3) Talk to parents, youth sport professionals & any youth soccer coaches about the fundraiser.
Youth clubs MUST apply for a free set of soccer balls that will be donated to them.

Fergus Federal Credit Union recently made the #CUDifference within their community with donations to the local school district. $20,000 was gifted to each of the five schools in Lewistown, resulting in a total contribution of $100,000.
~Garfield and Highland Park elementary schools are set to purchase new playground equipment and basketball baskets for their gym;
~Lewis & Clark Elementary School will be able to add a new baffle system to enhance acoustics and sound quality in its new gym;
~The junior high school plans to install a new reader board to replace its outdated letter board at the front of the building; and
~The high school will use the funds to remodel its concessions area for sporting events.
The credit union said of the donations, "Our community is so important to us and we like to give back any way we can."
I know that this information may shock and surprise you... but it's Giving Tuesday! Obviously there are an enormous amount of newsletters, posts and emails going out across all mediums of digital communication today sharing that very same exclamation, but I can't help but mention just how deserving Edgewater Castle Football Club is of your support.
For the last 7 years, we have build an organic grassroots community soccer club on the foundational pillars of volunteerism, community engagement, creativity and sustainably accessible programming. Through our strong partnerships with civic and private organizations of like-minded values, we have been able to not only sustain ourselves, but grow dramatically year over year, all while not charging a single player a single cent to participate in any of these programs - from youth after-school soccer camps to our elite adult teams - none of our players pay to play.
This means that every dollar we have ever received has gone directly toward providing more opportunities to more players in our neighborhoods. A large part of our success has been the support of individuals in our community and abroad who are willing to chip in and help.
Our club is changing a great deal in the next few months (all for the better & more on that soon), yet our foundations and our values are set in stone, and the people who have helped build our castle - stone by stone - have had an enormously important hand in making that the case.

In 2023, the Joan H. Gillings Foundation gave their first gift, a $13.5 million donation, that is already transforming Tar Heel women’s athletics.
