Before I sold my MSP I was nervous to talk to potential buyers. Are my numbers good enough?, what if I’m not ready?, I don’t want to share my private company information, what if anyone finds out? and the list goes on… Those are real concerns but talking to buyers ahead of time and preparing is important to make the right decision and educate yourself. Building strong relationships is even more important because you don’t want to make the wrong decision. Once the sale is done, it’s final. Remember, buyers have a reputation to maintain and a responsibility to keep information private. If you are thinking about it, even 3 to 5 years out, it’s never too early to start those conversations. I highly recommend Christopher Vollmond-Carstens as your trusted go-to resource to begin your journey. He’s professional and super knowledgeable.
