The Zero Emission Bus Resource Alliance – also known as ZEBRA – met here in Rochester on June 11 and 12, for a roundtable event on pivoting to hydrogen fuel cell technology. ZEBRA is a professional organization of 74 transit agencies in the United States and Canada that share lessons learned about zero-emission buses.

The commercial-vehicle sector is seeking propulsion technologies to reduce emissions and meet carbon-reduction targets, with battery-electric propulsion desired but currently limited due to duty cycles and infrastructure challenges.
