A new paper has been published regarding ArtiSential in VATS If you're a chest surgeon, make sure to read about the advantages of ArtiSential in "Early Clinical Outcomes of Thoracoscopic Major Pulmonary Resection and Thymectomy Using Novel Articulating Endoscopic Forceps". Case of the Week In addressing #AorticStenosis and a recessive right #CoronaryArtery in a 58-year-old patient, the surgeon turned to Axial3D to convert the DICOM images into a #3Dprinted model of the myocardium with oversized coronary arteries. The model helped the team plan the aortic valve replacement, provided critical insights into the patient's condition, and facilitated a more targeted approach to equipment selection. As a result, the patient spent 20 minutes less on the operating table, reducing intraoperative risk. Once we understand your pet’s illness, we can then discuss options and tailor a treatment plan to your pet’s individual needs. Typically, after an initial consultation, a patient will be admitted for further investigation, such as blood tests, radiographs, ultrasound or endoscopy. After the tests, unless immediate additional treatment is needed, animals may go home to await results. Sometimes, if a patient is found to have a non-medical disease and, for example, needs surgery or cancer treatment, they may be transferred to another team within the hospital.
