I've been posting about the robotic automation system that we've developed, especially now that the latest version looks like something we can be really proud of. There were a number of criteria that we set out as 'must haves' in our solution. ➡ The first one was that the robot needed to load through the front door, purely because our machines were located in closely aligned rows with no space to reorganise them to place robots and pallet pools in-between.☑ ➡ But we also wanted to make it really easy to get access to the machine when we didn't want to use the robot, and without a robot standing right in the doorway. This also helps when we need to get into the machine for a big maintenance job.✅ So the solution was a system located at the front, with the SCARA arm to the left of the machine's door, and the guarding folded away neatly. When the guards are out they lock in place with interlocked doors, but in 30 seconds they can be as shown in the photo. What does anyone think so far? #robots #automation #cncmachining

I am pleased to announce that I have completed the robot arm camp at RoboTech-EG, from which I gained experience on how to manufacture robots, which was divided into several tasks, including the types of actuators and hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, the types of motors and how to choose and control them, as well as some mechanical parts, and finally how to design the robot mechanically and then assemble all the components of the robot.
