On this #MindfulMonday, let's take the opportunity to have a mindful #MemorialDay 💐
Our first Memorial Day (previously known as Decoration Day) was observed back in 1868. This was to commemorate those who lost their lives in the American Civil War, and allow a day for collective grief. As we continue to observe this day, we mourn and memorialize all of our lost soldiers over the years.
Memorial Day should not be a day of mindless observance, rather a mindful day to acknowledge the meaning and importance. This could mean mourning those you have personally lost, a collective mourning for all the lives lost, or some moments to practice gratitude.
How will you move through this day mindfully?

PURPOSE”: Proverbs 19:21 says, “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails,” indicating that ultimately, God’s purpose guides human endeavors.
MEMORIES”: Joshua 4:6-7 the significance of remembering our memories on past events, and the series of events that had to happen exactly as he intended it to happen. Setting up stones as a memorial for everything god has done for us.
PASSION”:-
Colossians 3:23: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”

This saying emphasizes the importance of surrounding yourself with supportive people (your “tribe”) who share your values, goals, and passions. It suggests that investing in meaningful relationships with like-minded individuals can help you fulfill your purpose and pursue your passions more effectively.
