This was the moment America began a great comeback. In the depths of malaise, recession, high interest rates, high unemployment, and high inflation, but low morale, then candidate Reagan gave us something to hope for, and when he was elected, set about doing it. Four years later, we were better off.

I was too young to appreciate President Ronald Reagan at the time; however, I can attest to his greatness as President in retrospect and research. Oh for the day of another Reagan.
