Ticket Sales Tip of the Week #62 (Help members justify the full commitment ) People love being members. At private sports club, the value isn't price but rather what's exclusive to being a member. Access to the facility, being a part of a community, member only leagues, ability to bring guests and private lockers are exclusive features. What they can't do (unlike Sports Members who can share/sell tickets )is transfer those privileges. Recognizing that membership no longer can boast about the best seats @ the best price ( due to the verified secondary market) teams are building membership value by adding variables they can control. Player access, ticket exchange, member only events, discounted concessions/retail and VIP venue access (entrance, concession lines, other events) are the new qualifiers required to retain members.
