The USA has a Sickcare Profit Maximization System - multiple for-profit, publically traded insurance companies, hospital systems and private groups with no mandate for universal coverage. So ... It's not just that there are cracks that poor and underserved people can fall through THERE IS NO FLOOR So in the areas where you can't make money, our Healthcare statistics look like sub-Saharan Africa. Just look at infant and maternal mortality in places like Mississippi - especially among black women - the most underserved - and a direct modern expression of racism. And Healthcare debt is the number one cause of bankruptcy. And don't even get me started on gun violence and child mortality rates To even say the words "Healthcare System" in the same sentence as " United States of America" implying that we have one.... Is an abomination. #FUBAR is the only reasonable hashtag here And yet 17% of of the GDP is in the trough were the pigs are feeding HMMMM follow the money maybe?

As highlighted in the latest Mirror, Mirror 2024 report by The Commonwealth Fund, the U.S. continues to face significant disparities in healthcare access and affordability. Despite high spending, millions of Americans struggle to afford essential care, contributing to growing inequities in health outcomes. The urgency of this issue can not be overstated. Economic instability and rising healthcare costs place undue burden on working families and vulnerable populations. As leaders, we must drive forward impactful reforms that ensure everyone has access to affordable, high-quality care. The current state of healthcare demands a call to action with a focus on: Access: Breaking down barriers to care through innovative policies and expanded coverage. Affordability: Addressing systemic cost drivers to make healthcare affordable for all. Equity: Ensuring healthcare access is not dependent on socio-economic status by promoting equal care across communities. Change requires decisive leadership. A healthcare system that works for everyone is one that is equitable, affordable, and sustainable. #HealthcareReform #Equity #Access #FutureOfHealthcare #LeadershipForChange

AGAIN! The United States is lagging on health system performance. Even though we spend the most! We need to address our Lack of Healthcare Interoperability. With interoperability, everything will be transparent. We can start tackling our healthcare spending. We will know the price of every procedure, diagnostic test, hospital stay, and treatment cycle. We will have increased patient safety and satisfaction, because comprehensive patient information will follow the patient wherever they access care! Quality of Care will exceed our expectations, because of medical breakthroughs and disease surveillance. Let’s give Healthcare Interoperability a shot. What do we have to lose?

World Health Day is a significant event that emphasizes the importance of health and well-being. Here's a message to reflect on this day: "Health is a human right, not a privilege.
