🌟 The RS & RS Scientific Difference in Lung Cancer Therapy 🌟 Imagine a scenario where cancer patients endure the relentless routine of systemic, hospital-based chemotherapy. Each session, a painstaking search for a viable vein, often leading to discomfort and damage, adding to the emotional toll on both patients and caregivers. The side effects—nausea, fatigue, hair loss—further compound their suffering, straining healthcare systems and government resources. Hospitals are swamped with logistical challenges, exacerbating the already hefty economic burden projected to skyrocket to £1.26 trillion by 2040. The RS & RS Scientific's revolutionary inhalation therapy, set to transform this landscape. By enabling patients to self-administer treatment at home, it eliminates the need for invasive needle injections, preserving veins and reducing discomfort. This patient-friendly approach not only eases the burden on patients and caregivers but also relieves strain on healthcare facilities. Moreover, by minimizing systemic exposure, our therapy aims to lessen severe side effects, improving overall quality of life of lung cancer patient and families. This shift towards home-based treatment promises a more sustainable, effective, and compassionate approach to cancer care, addressing a global economic cost of $25.2 trillion from 2020 to 2050. Join us in revolutionizing cancer treatment. Together, we can make a difference. 💪 #RSRSScientific #LungCancerTreatment #InnovativeTherapy #PatientCare #HealthcareRevolution #Innovation #CompassionateCare Image displayed for illustrative purposes only.

With limited treatment options, and no curative treatments, clinical trials are an important avenue for many people with metastatic breast cancer. But trials can too often perpetuate broader societal inequities, which limits our understanding of how certain medical interventions affect different groups of people. We need action across multiple levels of clinical trial design and implementation to embed more equitable and inclusive practices. Achieving this can improve health outcomes for all. https://lnkd.in/eRXb4Gke

The NHS Long Term Plan's focus on increasing bowel cancer screening through colonoscopy is a positive step towards better healthcare outcomes. The long-term plan aims to improve early cancer diagnosis across various types, including bowel cancer. Its ambition is to have 75% of all cancers diagnosed at stage 1 or 2 by 2028. However, this also highlights the ongoing challenge of workforce strain in the endoscopy sector and The Royal College of Physicians estimates a shortage of over 1,000 consultant gastroenterologists in the UK, impacting access to vital services like colonoscopies. We understand the vital role endoscopy plays in early diagnosis and treatment. That's why we offer a reliable endoscopy service as part of our comprehensive clinical insourcing solutions. Better sooner than later. 🖊 This is a case from practice. A man with no health complaints. A lung nodule is interpreted as LungRADS2. After 6 months - the lesion has doubled in size. It wasn't lung cancer. Metastasis. Clinical examination reveals colorectal cancer. Yes, cancer, but better sooner than later. 💠 Lung cancer prevention is crucial, and LungRADS (Lung Imaging Reporting and Data System) is a key tool in this effort. LungRADS is a standardized system for reporting and classifying low-dose CT (LDCT) chest scans in lung cancer screening programs. Developed by the American College of Radiology (ACR), it enhances diagnostic accuracy and consistency. Benefits : ◻ Early Detection: Helps identify lung cancer early, significantly improving treatment outcomes. ◻ Reduced False Positives: Minimizes unnecessary follow-ups, reducing patient stress and costs. ◻ Improved Standards: Ensures consistent interpretation of LDCT results, aiding in accurate and swift decisions. ◻ Research and Protocols: Provides standardized data beneficial for research and enhancing treatment standards. Implementing LungRADS is a significant step forward in lung cancer (not only!!) diagnosis and treatment. Its effective use can save lives and improve healthcare quality. #LungCancer #EarlyDetection #LungRADS #Radiology #MedicalImaging #PatientCare

In the latest issue of the Journal of Clinical Pathways, Poka Cui, Peter Blanshard, María Teresa Campos, Adrien Moucquot, S. Hassan N., David Dellamonica, and Heather Moses completed a literature review along with interviews involving lung cancer multidisciplinary teams (MDTMs) from 24 medical centers across Europe and Canada to identify best practices and develop a self-assessment toolkit for MDTMs. "The report discusses how these results should be used to self-optimize hospital MDTs, promote standardization, and encourage increased cross-hospital best practices sharing. With this, MDTs will be better positioned to deliver on the key goal of improved patient outcomes while promoting equality of access to health care," said the authors.
