Continuing at #llmzoomcamp, I deepened my understanding of how to effectively utilize the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) model for more accurate and reliable outputs. We learned to structure a prompt template that guides the LLM to generate responses based on specific context from a FAQ database, ensuring the answers are fact-based and directly relevant. Here’s a glimpse of how we structure our prompts: ``` You're a course teaching assistant. Answer the QUESTION based on the CONTEXT from the FAQ database.  Use the facts from the CONTEXT when answering the QUESTION.  If the CONTEXT doesn't contain the answer, output NONE. QUESTION: {question} CONTEXT: {context} ``` This format helps the LLM to focus on the given context and also includes a crucial guideline to output 'NONE' if the answer isn't found in the context. This is a simple yet powerful way to avoid the issue of generating misleading or incorrect information, commonly known as 'hallucinations.' Learning to craft these instructions has been an enlightening part of enhancing how we interact with and utilize advanced AI models in practical applications. Excited for what's next! #llmzoomcamp

Two or three weeks ago, during a brainstorming session with my supervisor, I proposed an idea that seemed feasible, to which he agreed ✨ , suggesting the use of prompts with our model for assessment 😮 . At that moment, I realized there was a gap in my knowledge—I wasn't quite sure what he meant 🤔 . Fast forward to today, and not only has that gap been bridged, but I've also just completed the "Prompt Engineering for Vision Models" 😀 course from DeepLearning.AI! This course has been an eye-opener, generously made free, it provided me with: 1- Insights into Hugging Face's innovative tools like DreamBooth, LoRA, and inpainting. 2- Knowledge of cutting-edge models such as OWL-ViT and SAM. 3- Skills to apply prompt engineering to computer vision tasks. 4- Techniques to segment images with precision using text or coordinates. 5- The ability to creatively combine object detection, segmentation, and guided diffusion. 6- Expertise in fine-tuning stable diffusion models to generate custom imagery. 7- Adopted Comet for robust experiment tracking and visualization - a game-changer for my projects! My deepest appreciation goes to the course instructors Abby Morgan, Jacques Verré, and Caleb Kaiser for their expertise, to DeepLearning.AI for their generosity, and to Andrew Ng for orchestrating such informative and succinct courses that are transforming the #AI learning landscape. As I look back on the conversation with my supervisor, I'm excited to revisit that idea with a whole new toolkit at my disposal.
