This week, we rocked the life science industry by launching our first-ever Talking Shop in partnership with GoCo Health Innovation City and Astra Zeneca Health Works. The evening was designed to challenge convention. The topic? The mindsets and behaviours that are holding the life science industry back. What were some of the ideas that were hotly debated? 🔸That it’s impossible to implement outcome-based pricing models in most countries due to rigid payer systems. 🔸Face to face engagement with HCPs is still the most effective way to drive sales. 🔸R&D priorities should be set by individual companies. 🔸Short term wins must be prioritised to keep the share price up. 🔸Head to head competition is inevitable as its too expensive to identify new patients and grow the market.
