We're proud of the work we're doing here - BUT, there's a lot more to be done. Benchmarking and connecting is paramount - it's the purpose of these awards. -Milspouses are still underutilized, underemployed and often challenged to find a reasonable career option. -Guard/Reserve are still underutilized, un-connected in some cases, and better benefits/practices are often hard to push. -Skillbridge and similar programs are often being improperly employed, causing multiple transitions for service members. - Finally, many organizations don't realize the massive bottom line impacts of having a successful, well-oiled program. It's more than "nice to have". It's great for business and people. Congratulations to all of the companies who've been recognized by the VETS Indexes awards that were recently released. Cushman & Wakefield has ranked 5 Star for the 2nd consecutive year. We're only able to do this with the hard work of so many alongside us. But there's more to be done. Yesterday, when I was writing about our first hire, the tagging option came up, as usual. But this was the first time it hit me! I’d been able to grow Branded by Aquila to the point of hiring somebody else full-time 😱 Seeing Samuel's place of employment as my business was a surreal moment. In 33 days (to be precise), I’ve gone from making BbA my full-time commitment to hiring our first team member 💪 👉 The momentum is unreal 👈 And that right there really resonates with something Alex Collins said to me about momentum being a really powerful tool to run with. I’m definitely running, like the next Usain Bolt 😂 BbA isn’t just supporting me and its clients; it’s supporting another team member and their commitments. It’s a humbling responsibility, and I sincerely hope to make Sam, and our future employees, proud.
