Shaping the future together
🎉 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 70 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗛ö𝗱𝗹𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗿: 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 Last weekend almost 1000 #peopleinlogistics came together at our location for a three-day event in Schwertberg to celebrate our 70th anniversary. From our valued customers and employees to family and longtime companions – everyone came in an excellent mood. Johannes Hödlmayr itself took us on a journey through time that all of us could relive the most important milestones. While the third generation Nina Hoedlmayr, Julian Hödlmayr & Johannes Alexander Hödlmayr let us about their perception of the Hödlmayr values and our Board of Directors Johannes Alexander Hödlmayr, Robert Horvath & Andreas SUNDL shared their ideas of the future with us. Or in other words: Scooty beam me up! 🚀 Delicious food and drinks were provided throughout the weekend, as well as a varied entertainment program. From inspiring key notes by futurologists Horx & Horx (Tristan Horx), humorous artistic highlights by a caricaturist or a bubble artist and to an exciting pub quiz, everything was included! 🎤🎭📚 A big thanks to everyone who made this anniversary so special. We look forward to the next 70 years of innovation, collaboration and success! Let’s shape the future together! PS: The next milestone happened yesterday: On July 1, Johannes Alexander Hödlmayr officially took over his position as CEO of Hödlmayr International GmbH. At the moment, he is visiting all subsidiaries, meeting as many people in logistics as possible. More insights about his trip are coming soon. 🤗 #companyanniversary #70yearshoedlmayr #celebrations #peopleinlogistics #shapingthefuturetogether

This year we celebrate our 30th anniversary! 🎉 We're especially proud of the fact that some of our colleagues have been part of our exciting journey from the very beginning. One of these colleagues is Lutz Schuele, Head of Business Unit Healthcare: 𝟯 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝟯𝟬 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝗧𝗞? 𝟭. 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 - The many different products and customers ensure that it never gets boring here. You can always prove yourself anew and find creative solutions across departments with differently composed project teams. 💪 𝟮. 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 - What I particularly like is the special ITK spirit in dealing with colleagues. It's simply fun when everyone pulls together and supports each other. ✨ 𝟯. 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - I think it's very important to be able to drive forward your own ideas and help shaping them. There are no rigid, untouchable structures here. Flexibility is firmly anchored in our company history. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁? The healthcare business unit provides me the opportunity to contribute to the future of healthcare technology. It's also really fulfilling to work on projects that help people. One current topic that I find very exciting is the internationalization of our customers and workforce. Thanks to our affiliation with Bosch, we have the opportunity to expand our international customer base and transform our engineering team to an international one. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲? The further interconnectivity, personalization and digitalization of healthcare remains an exciting field that I enjoy working on. But the transformation from sickcare to healthcare is particularly exciting. A lot can still be improved here, for example to better prevent illnesses with the help of artificial intelligence and not just help in the event of illness. #ITK #ITKEngineering #30yearsITK #history #engineering #jubilee #healthcare

Tomorrow will mark the 120th anniversary of Charles Stewart Rolls first meeting Frederick Henry Royce at The Midland Hotel in Manchester. It was the start of an enduring and very productive partnership. Over a century later, long-term relationships remain a cornerstone of who we are and how we do business. Rolls-Royce is driven by long-term, win-win partnerships. Our horizons are long, with success dependent on lasting relationships that address the opportunities and challenges of the future. Our products are designed, manufactured and used over decades. We deliver them with quality and consistency, through sustainable collaborations with our customers and supply-chain partners. And we invest for the long-term, developing the technologies our customers will need in the future, such as our UltraFan engine, while meeting their needs today. We have developed technologies that Charles Stewart Rolls and Frederick Henry Royce couldn’t possibly have imagined. Rolls and Royce laid the foundations upon which generations have built the company we know today. Now we are strengthening those foundations through our transformation, to create a high performing, competitive, resilient and growing business. The changes we are making within Rolls-Royce will write the next chapter in our company’s history, just as that meeting in Manchester wrote the first.

Unexpected Encounter with the CEO of our company Mercedes-Benz Group AG - A Personal Insight with Mr. Ola Kaellenius I was thrilled to meet our company's CEO! It was an unexpected and inspiring encounter in the elevator on the way to a team retreat at the Untertürkheim office. It was a typical Wednesday morning, and instead of heading to Böblingen-Hulb, I was on my way to Building 110 in Untertürkheim, where our team retreat was planned. After navigating through heavy rain using public transportation, I finally found my way to Building 110 and quickly ran inside to find the elevator. There, I saw two tall men, one with a face I immediately recognized but could hardly believe – it was Mr. Ola Källenius! As an employee of Mercedes-Benz AG, I couldn't believe I was so close to the CEO. Naturally, he was very friendly and let me enter the elevator first. This moment, as we were in the elevator, was surprising for me, and I seized the chance to take a selfie with him, knowing that it would sound unbelievable to many. "Photo or it never happened!" 🤳 This encounter vividly showed me how accessible and approachable our leadership is. It's remarkable how easy it is to connect with them in our daily work environment. This experience has further strengthened my respect and appreciation for our company and its leadership. While this isn't my first time meeting the CEO of a global company while working in Germany, it is certainly one of the most recent and memorable ones. (PS: Of course, I immediately contacted his secretary afterward to ask if I could use the photo for our social intranet/network, and she, along with Mr. Ola Källenius, granted permission.) What are your experiences with leadership? I look forward to your comments and thoughts on such encounters. 😊 Your feedback is always welcome – feel free to like, share, and comment! 🚀 #Leadership #CEOEncounter #WorkplaceExperience #Inspiration #CompanyCulture #Networking #ProfessionalGrowth #TeamRetreat #CareerJourney #EmployeeEngagement #CorporateCulture #ExecutiveLeadership #MemorableMoments #WorkLife #ProfessionalDevelopment #BusinessInsights #LeadershipInAction #EmployeeExperience #WorkplaceStories #CompanyValues

CANEAs headquarters reside in Gothenburg, and as we tell the story of our HQ, it's time to delve into the rich history of Gothenburg, a city known for its vibrant culture and historical significance. Gothenburg, founded in 1621 by King Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden, is located on the west coast of Sweden. Its strategic location at the mouth of the Göta River made it an important trading hub from its inception. In its early years, Gothenburg was heavily influenced by Dutch merchants and engineers who were instrumental in designing the city's canals and urban layout, giving it a distinct character compared to other Swedish cities. The city's fortifications, built to protect against potential invasions, played a crucial role in its defense and development. The 18th and 19th centuries marked significant growth for Gothenburg, as it became a key center for shipbuilding and trade. The establishment of the Swedish East India Company in 1731 further cemented Gothenburg’s status as a vital trading port, facilitating commerce with Asia and beyond. Industrialization in the late 19th and early 20th centuries transformed Gothenburg into an industrial powerhouse. Major companies, including Volvo and SKF, were founded here, contributing to the city's economic prosperity and global reputation. Gothenburg celebrated its 400th anniversary in 2021, marking four centuries of rich history and development. Today, Gothenburg is celebrated for its blend of historical charm and modern innovation. The city boasts numerous cultural attractions, including the Gothenburg Opera, Liseberg amusement park, and the annual Gothenburg Film Festival, reflecting its dynamic and diverse cultural scene. As Gothenburg moves forward, it continues to honor its historical roots while embracing a future of sustainability and innovation. Have you ever visited Gothenburg? #Gothenburg #History #Sweden #CANEA

Brian As I mentioned when I saw you at NADA...I am most grateful for all that I have learned from your education dedication. And I am all for the de-legacy-ing of retail auto. For me, the challenge is not the validity of the technology...it's the integration of that tech into existing dealer processes that may be perceived as "good enough" (currently) for that retail auto decision maker. I got into retail auto when you could get a dealer leader's attention by using the "if you could just sell/service one or a few more cars" close. Those days are long gone and they should be. I believe the effective retail auto leaders today look at the "disruption" factor a lot more than they did in the past. In most cases, when you integrate a new piece of technology success is going to require a change in the people who deliver the existing process...and thus adapting the culture to that "new way" as well. Plus, this is a business that lives/dies in a 30 day cycle of accountability and any disruption could affect that negatively. New products/processes take time to seed...sometimes, a lot of time. And as we all know, culture change is behavior change...the hardest change for leaders and their suppliers to navigate. Former leader of AutoNation MIKE JACKSON has said...the retail auto "culture" doesn't always seem "logical" to retail auto innovators and people outside the industry...night can be day, up can be down, etc. Just thinking... Today Robert Bosch celebrates his 163rd birthday. He not only left behind a great, innovative company whose products and services live up to the claim of “invented for life”, but also a foundation. The Robert Bosch Stiftung is active in the three areas of health, education and global issues. The latter also includes the design field of “democracy” with the core question “How can we strengthen democracy in Germany and Europe?” A question whose answer is unfortunately becoming more and more urgent. #RobertBosch left his successors a twofold legacy: the company on the one hand, and his commitment to #SocialGood on the other. What was it like back then, and how do we, as a foundation, understand his mission today? 🤔 Anne Geiger (Bosch Career) visited us and had a couple of questions ... 🎤 🎬 Watch the video: https://lnkd.in/e5w24pVT #OnThisDay: Robert Bosch was born 163 years ago today. 🕯️ #Anniversary #BoschStiftung60 #CorporateResponsibility
