Think PINK in October! 🩷💓💞💖💕💘💝🩷 Dedicated to all the Warriors in this fight or who have faced this battle. The most well known statistic regarding breast cancer is the 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer. I have friends who have faced it and won the battle. Do your self checks 🎯, get your mammograms 🏥, early detection SAVES LIVES🩷. From the American Cancer Society💕 Overall, the average risk of a woman in the United States developing breast cancer sometime in her life is about 13%. This means there is a 1 in 8 chance she will develop breast cancer. This also means there is a 7 in 8 chance she will never have the disease. https://lnkd.in/ebSGqfjA

October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a global campaign dedicated to raising awareness about the disease and promoting early detection. Since its inception in 1985, this initiative has been instrumental in highlighting the importance of education, screening, and research in the fight against breast cancer. By empowering individuals with knowledge and encouraging regular check-ups, we can collectively work towards a future where breast cancer is no longer a life-threatening diagnosis. This month, let's stand in solidarity with those affected by breast cancer, celebrate survivorship, and honor the memory of those we've lost. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against this disease. At Pyramid Consulting, Inc you Belong:IN! #IntentionallyInclusive #diversityequityandinclusion #BreastCancerAwareness

With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it’s a good time to think about the importance of ongoing research and finding a cure for a disease that impacts millions globally, especially women.🎗️ Here are simple yet impactful ways we can all contribute to this cause : • Get regular screenings: Early detection can significantly improve treatment outcomes. •Listen to your body: Stay mindful of changes like lumps, unusual pain, or other abnormalities. • Spread the word: Sharing information with friends, family, and colleagues can raise awareness and encourage action - just like this post. Let’s work together towards a future without breast cancer. Every bit of awareness counts. 🌸 #breastCancerAwarenessMonth #HealthMatters #releveia
At iA, alleviating the suffering of the sick is one of our core values. 🎗️ Once again this year, throughout the month of October, we’re proud to light up our head office in pink to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Sarcoma Awareness Month: Shinning a Light on the “Forgotten Cancer” This July, we’re spotlighting the need to cure sarcoma, a rare cancer of the connective tissue which affects over 50,000 Americans. Sarcoma, often called the “forgotten cancer,” impacts about 1% of adult cancer patients and makes up 20% of all childhood cancer cases. It is imperative we continue to highlight the challenges these patients face and recommit to finding treatments and therapies.
