I believe SAFA should employ referees on a full time basis so that they are able to professionalize the profession of the referees because they are working on a part time basis, I think that is far more urgent than VAR and that will help improve the standard of referees in the country. Courses and workshops for club owners are urgently needed in the country if we plan on growing football holistically because all other stakeholders are required to have certain qualifications but the owners have not been inducted into the profession of being a club owner.

*Internal Moot Championships 2024 Workshop: Day 1* The Simple Do's and Don'ts With each attendee listening intently while jotting down every little golden nugget of advice they received, clear emphasis was placed on a few important but overlooked areas. The key tips and tricks shared included maintaining eye contact, summarising points succinctly, expanding on points if time permits, and avoiding fillers like "mmms" and "ahhs", making relevant references to authorities, concluding with a summary, and including a prayer for relief were emphasised. Azim also advised speaking politely to the tribunal, engaging with opponents' arguments, and addressing points directly to save time. After the said advice, the first day of the Internal Moot Championships 2024 Workshop concluded. Each mooter left more informed and prepared to handle the stress that comes with the competition. It is no doubt that ABD Azim Bin ABD Razak's expert insights provided aspiring mooters with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in competitions. As they prepare for the next day's workshop, participants are well on their way to becoming confident and competent advocates. Read the full story @ https://lnkd.in/gjgxHG-q

Rugby is in a pickle...but looking within the game for the cure may not be how to fix it, when you haven't diagnosed the root cause. 1. Society - 🥊the cost of living crisis and rugby's attritional nature means it is a risk to people's livelihoods to play the game once past school age and it currently doesn't pay enough to make it worth the risk 2. Aspirational - 🥇when you can earn millions of dollars at home why would you play a sport which risks your brains and your body 3. Academies - ⚽️ Football has academies and young people sewn up and schools can't afford to play rugby. Anything you would add? Money would help but without the guarantee of success and a clear plan less people will want to put their money in. Some ideas rugby could explore: 1. Make the game less attritional and focus on speed, space, athleticism 2. Give touch rugby some proper investment 3. Find a closer symbiosis with Universities to catch the football drop outs, let people find a career and a hobby them explore professionalism, create a draft. 4. Create a touring team of Barbarians who's focus is to be the Dude Perfects, Harlem Globetrotters, And1s for a rugby audience. Pay them as a media channel not as players. 5. Make international rugby your pinnacle. Focus on the nations that play it and give them the funds to grow and compete. Let the leagues be the feeders. Let University be your ladder. Let touch be your starting point.
This is a good column by Brian Moore about English rugby’s predicament. https://lnkd.in/eiype5zf

The key objective of this study conducted by the European Club Association (ECA) was to understand the first team transition process in Europe and provide a starting “toolkit” for clubs of all sizes that would like to improve their performance in this crucial area. Here is the link to the study: https://rb.gy/s62lbg From a young player perspective, it is possibly the most challenging step during his entire career, which starts from the players’ initial interactions with the first team and concludes when they become established members of the squad. How can clubs make the transition to first team football process more successful and efficient? Which clubs perform best in this area in Europe, and what can be learned from them? What is the most suitable domestic competition model to support transition goals? One could think that Portuguese clubs are doing a god job. This study shows a completely different scenario! We should look at England. Premier League and Championship on the top 3. Outstanding! Also, Italy's Serie A and Serie B performances are remarkable. #footballindustry

Hi Football Agents! I did something I am really proud of to help you on your way to becoming a licensed Football Agent. As you know the FIFA agent exam follows a standard format, you are presented with 20 questions and you have 1 hour to complete the exam. Each question is worth a point, and you need at least 15 points to pass. I personally took the exam in September 2023, I wrote down all the questions I had shortly after leaving the exam venue, and I am happy to share them with you. Please remember that each person gets different questions, so you WON’T get the same questions below, but they are good preparation material. Answers are not provided so folks can practice finding them in the study material, just like what you will be doing in the real exam. Get the PDF for free using the link below, and enjoy practicing! #footballagent #fifaagentexam #footballagents #fifaexam

ACCA PM & FM pass this way 🌈 |Visible Tutor | Personal support for YOUR success. Management accounting tutor at FME Learn Online winner of PQ award 2024
Going for Gold …..You will find in the latest ACCA PM examiner’s article a question on Regression Analysis. This is the first time we have seen an actual sample exam question on the topic since this was reintroduced to the syllabus 3 years ago. I wrote a PQ Magazine article after the Tokyo Olympics to introduce this topic area to PM sitters. Here I correlate GB Olympic sports funding to medals. Do you think 🤔 correlation necessarily means causality? I will update this after the Paris Olympics, Graham Hambly 👍 #accaglobal #olympics #correlation #UKsport #teamGB

It was my biggest honor so far that I could held a guest lecture at the University of Eötvös Loránd University Savaria Sport Trainer course. With the main lecturer Szabolcs Schimmer we talked about the importance, the types and the structures of analysis in football. After the theoretical lecture we showed the students, real analyst works and a presentation training with the U19, how can the analyst work appear in a training session. #football #presentation #guestlecture #analysis #footballanalysis #hanzehogeschool #ELTE #university
