Shares in United Oil & Gas PLC (AIM:UOG) fell over 30% after it said it conditionally raised £1 million by selling heavily discounted stock in the Jamaica-focused junior.  To entice investors to take up the offer, shares were priced at 0.2p each, a 43% discount to Monday's closing price. Directors, including CEO Brian Larkin, spent £35,000 participating in the fundraiser. At 8.07 am, the shares were changing hands for 0.24p each, down 0.11p. HyTerra Ltd (ASX:HYT) will use more than A$1.945 million raised in a pro-rata non-renounceable rights issue to help fund a multi-well exploration drilling program focused on #hydrogen and #helium along the Nemaha Ridge in Kansas, USA. The offer was made to eligible shareholders registered on April 12, 2024, to subscribe for four shares for every nine existing shares held by eligible shareholders at an issue price of $0.018 each to raise up to approximately $5.24 million before costs. It was fully underwritten by RM Corporate Finance Pty Ltd in accordance with an underwriting agreement. Funds raised will primarily be applied to executing a multi-well exploration drilling program along the Nemaha Ridge, Kansas, USA, which is set to begin in the third quarter of 2024, and pursuing growth activities. Rainbow has entered into a royalty financing and share subscription agreement with Ecora Resources PLC, and all conditions precedent required for the payment of the US$8.5 million royalty consideration have been met. The funds, net of US$229k transaction costs, have been received by Rainbow. This is in addition to the funds raised by the associated share subscription which completed in July and delivered an additional ca. US$1.5 million to Rainbow, for a total gross funding of US$10 million. As previously announced, the funds will be used to: 1. deliver the completion of the Definitive Feasibility Study on the Phalaborwa project; and 2. cover all other Company financing requirements up to June 2025. #criticalminerals #rareearths

USA's VAALCO Energy, Inc sets forth stepping into Ivory Coast with a Swedish acquisition.   Vaalco Energy, listed in New York and London, has initiated talks about acquiring Sweden's Svenska Petroleum Exploration AB, offering it a share in a significant oil and gas block offshore Ivory Coast, West Africa that features the Baobab oilfield.   If the merger concludes, VAALCO will acquire Svenska's 27.39% holding in Block CI-40, which is producing approximately 4,500 barrels of oil equivalent per day net to Svenska.   My sincere regard for VAALCO's prospective expansion through this acquisition which aligns with its objective of growing its operations and project pipeline. #progresstoexcellence #offshoreindustry #acquisition #vaalcoenergy #usa #svenska #sweden #internationaltrade #oilandgas #oilandgasindustry #ivorycoast
