Excellent white paper from INSA regarding information sharing: Information sharing will enable us to be safe and aware together as we are together in this fight against threats from cyberspace. In this paper are five recommendations for private sector firms to operationalize to improve information sharing: 1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, legal, compliance, etc. 2. Improve understanding of partner priorities, collection requirements, and how recipients can act on information. 3. Leverage established information sharing entities (e.g., ISACs, ISAOs) to anonymize information/intelligence sources. 4. Ensure safeguards are in place, to include NDAs, data protection regimes, and secure mechanisms for sharing. 5. 🔎 The “Fourth Industrial Revolution” has the potential to revolutionise our lives – but whether this is for good or for bad depends on how we respond to its challenges.  On 6 December, Spark attended the Cybersecurity Summit at CEPS (Centre for European Policy Studies). This year’s summit focused on how the EU can go beyond the “Brussels Effect”. Therefore, focusing on how to successfully implement new EU legislation on the topic (the #ArtificialIntelligenceAct and #CyberResilienceAct, in particular) and how we can continue to take action to protect consumers in light of the increasing challenges. 🤖 We look forward to seeing how this new EU legislation will be practically implemented to protect consumers. Furthermore, now that we are entering the “Fourth Industrial Revolution”, it will be fascinating to see exactly how the EU responds to the constantly evolving state of play 🧠
