As many of you may know I have been battling kidney disease for the last 20 years. To give you some perspective over 3000 people die each year waiting for a kidney and over 100,000 people are on dialysis each day. Nationwide on an average there are about 20,000 transplants per year. I have been working with a specialist for the last 20 years to keep my kidney function stable.
Unfortunately my numbers have reached a point where I need to have a kidney transplant. The goal is to find a living donor before I would have to start dialysis. The good news is that we all can live with one kidney. My family and I are asking for your support.
