What an exhilarating season and a special title-deciding finale in Barcelona, rightly named the Solidarity GP to keep the main goal front and center: helping Valencia and the surrounding areas recover from last month’s devastating floods, where the original race was to be held. I want to recognize the outstanding commitment of Francesco Bagnaia, Enea Bastianini, and the Ducati Motor Holding team for pushing through fierce competition with resilience and precision, and a relentless drive to innovate. As we celebrate these achievements, it’s worth noting that our partnership with Ducati Corse has been a journey of shared innovation—seven seasons strong. And we’re just getting started. Together, we’re exploring new ways to redefine performance with advanced technology for the future. Here’s to even greater heights ahead! #DucatiLenovoTeam #SolidarityGP.

Ducati’s Comeback: Focus or Take the Leap? Ever been at a point where you had to decide: stick to what you know or risk everything by trying something new? That was Ducati’s big dilemma back in 2001. Just a few years earlier, the company was on the brink of bankruptcy. Then came Federico Minoli, who turned everything around. He focused on what Ducati was already amazing at—building fast, high-performance sports bikes that screamed Italian design and racing heritage. The results? Revenues quadrupled between 1996 and 2000, and Ducati’s market share climbed. Sounds like a dream turnaround back then, right? But success brought a challenge. Should Ducati stay true to its niche, or go after Harley-Davidson’s cruisers and expand into new territory? One path meant doubling down on what worked; the other meant risking their hard-earned identity for growth. This story isn’t just about motorcycles—it’s about the decisions every business (and maybe every person) has to make: when do you focus, and when do you take the leap? What would you have done in Ducati’s shoes? Stick to what’s working or risk it for something bigger? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

This is a real part of me: my red passion for Ducati Motor Holding & riding motorbikes. I know this is not a LinkedIn “proper” content but an event like the World Ducati Weekend can teach a lot about #marketing & the power of #branding - and, more generally, how we function as humans (and consumers). I joined the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli with my #Ducati Monster 797 🏍️ It was an unforgettable experience to ride at sunset the #misanoworldcircuit but, above all, seeing more than 12.000 ducatisti from all over the planet joining this event. Most people don’t understand why you can be so in love with the two wheels. But the people that do, they have something in common that brings them together like no other activity or product. It's the sense of freedom, speed, sometimes risk. It is about pushing boundaries. It is a stress relief and my favourite meditation practice: on a Ducati, you have to be fully concentrated and think ahead. Always think ahead. If you add to such an experience a product that is perfect and iconic, you got magic. Products like #Ducati have the power of being symbolic and inspiring. They can unite the most diverse generations, genders, communities and backgrounds. Because Ducati are beautiful and they are just unique. There is no specific reason why, but they are recognisable and leave no one indifferent. They make a difference. And they bring people together. Women and men cheering for their favorite pilots, people from Milan and Taiwan share the same dinner table and they find themselves similar to each other thanks to a common lifelong theme: the passion for two wheels. Joining similar sports events is a cultural experience, showing the power of #madeinItaly and well done marketing - that leads to build culture, not just products. This is Ducati, this is Nuvola Rossa. Claudio Domenicali Rocco Canosa

Alfa Romeo recently announced that the name of its new B-SUV will be "Junior." This choice has sparked a great deal of discussion, with some people praising it and others criticizing it. Regardless of personal opinions, it is important to underline that change is inevitable. The automotive world is constantly evolving, and brands must adapt to the new market demands. Alfa Romeo is no exception, and the choice of the #Junior name is just one of the many examples of how the brand is trying to reinvent itself for the future. However, this change should also make us reflect on the value of vintage cars. The GT 1300 Junior, for example, is a highly sought-after car by collectors today. Its value has increased over the years and will continue to do so in the future. This is because vintage cars represent a piece of history. This is why it is important to preserve vintage cars and pass them on to future generations. We can do this by investing in vintage cars, participating in rallies and vintage car races, or simply by telling the story of these cars to our children and grandchildren. The choice of the #Junior name for the new #AlfaRomeo is an opportunity to reflect on the past, present, and future of the brand. It is a sign that Alfa Romeo is looking to the future, but it is also a reminder not to forget its rich history and tradition. #AlfaRomeo #Milano #Junior

Great news for petrolheads here: Porsche's planned S$100m experience centre opens in Changi in 2027. But it won't just be a place for driving fun. Porsche APAC CEO Hannes R. told us that the centre will target the region, including transiting tourists from China, Australia and India. It's also open to renting out the venue - track and all - to other car brands. As an experience centre alone, I doubt Porsche could recoup the costs of setting up. But as an aftersales location, lifestyle and event space, it's far more worth the investment. In a historical footnote, petrol heads will be happy that there's finally a facility that caters to dynamic driving in Singapore. Porsche stops short of calling it a racing track, but I guess it'll be a lot more fun than driving around a carpark. Back in 2007, the planned Changi Motorsports Hub would have been the first permanent racing track in Singapore and there was even talks of holding a MotoGP race there. That failed big time. Given Porsche's track record, this project is far less likely to go off piste. #porsche #singapore #stb
