On Tuesday, Sept. 24, the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors approved the reallocation of $250,000 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding to the Downtown Sacramento Partnership (DSP) for downtown safety enhancements. The Downtown Sacramento Partnership is a private, non-profit property and business improvement district (PBID) dedicated to the revitalization of the central business district. This project aims to enhance public safety and support economic revitalization by providing additional security measures. “This reallocation of funds reflects our commitment to using ARPA resources strategically to address the needs of our community,” said First District Supervisor Phil Serna. “We're focused on enhancing the economic recovery in Downtown Sacramento but also the safety for the people who live and work in the area, including our own county employees.” Sacramento County-Office of Economic Development Read More https://lnkd.in/eEznyCEA
