I have only just seen that on the 24th April 2024 the European Parliament adopted the first #EU rules on combating violence against women and domestic violence. The directive calls for stronger laws against cyber violence, better assistance for victims, and steps… The new rules prohibit female genital mutilation and forced marriage and outline guidelines for offenses committed online, such as the disclosure of private information and cyberflashing. FAIR-PReSONS aims to develop a bias-free AI system for the fair prediction of recidivism, with a strong emphasis on gender equality and compliance with EU legislation for non-discriminative AI.
