The future of Visualisation??? With Power BI dominating the Visualisation space, #microsoft working hard to make #fabric as a single layer for data, it is clear that Visualization soon wud become business only module without any IT support... on other side, #google tries to sell semantics than #looker, we never heard of anyone using #quicksight from #aws, what we left is #tableau #qlik and some more... in this Salesforce is making sure tableau is plotted on top of sfdc n qlik bought #talend for all the data based works.. those leftover #visualization tools wud exist as layer on top of any data layer or they wud sell to someone else... meanwhile the Junior/mid #bi developers doesn't know anything beyond drag n drop of bi tool, including not able to write a good SQ with lot of self learning modules from product companies - business users learn the bi skills quickly are we heading towards a world, where #it or #itservices doesn't have any role beyond creating or storing data for consumption... the real creative side understanding what is happening to data and why it is like that will be given only to business? so, it wud b like factory where laborers were given machines to build products as per SoP. possibly automation of existing process wud be d max. innovation... hmmmm...an interesting future ahead for us, possibly this wud change the perspective on jobs... will wait n watch!

Helping organisations maximise the impact of data, analytics, AI/ML and GenerativeAI to drive outcomes.
Want insights in the flow of work? Want to be able to drive workflow and actions directly from your analytics back into your systems of record? Actionable insights have always been the nirvana and yet that last mile has proved difficult for many. #Tableau is changing the game, commoditising actionable insights. As we come out of the other side of the Salesforce annual conference #Dreamforce it's worth considering the breadth and depth of announcements regarding #Tableau. If you didn't get a chance to see the keynote showing end-to-end how #Tableau is looking to change the game with AI infused, actionable insights for everyone then I would suggest this is time well spent, catch the replay here: https://lnkd.in/gNnCsSsZ Note I used 'insights' not analytics for everyone, there's nuance there. For many organisations today democratisation of data ends with the pushing of analytics (think dashboards and reports) out to the edges to be consumed by users. At #Tableau we know we can do better - with #AI generated insights and recommendations, delivered where you need them, with the ability to directly drive workflow back into your systems of record (e.g. think SAP, Oracle, Workday and of course #Salesforce) this truly leads the thinking in terms of the next generation of connected insights. Check out the #Dreamforce replay and let me know your thoughts in the comments. Also, one of our #Tableau ambassadors here in NZ, Alexander Waleczek has written a blog summarising some of his views on the innovations. You can read more here: https://lnkd.in/gPDZ3Spd These views are my own. #data #visualisation #analytics #businessintelligence Matthew King Steve Holley Ashlee Marcuccio Rachel Smith-Cianchi Charles B.
