Follow-ups take too much time. Actually, you only need five minutes. Here’s how to follow up effectively and quickly: First, keep your message concise. Acknowledge their needs and remind them of your offer in one or two lines. For example, “I noticed you’re interested in scaling; let’s revisit that solution.” Next, include a call to action. Ask for a specific time for a follow-up call or meeting. Think: “Does Wednesday at 10 AM work for you?” Finally, automate reminders with your CRM. Ok - Lets Go CDK Frustrated People We got to stick together, network, and fight through the “Fog of War” Step #1 - upon reading my approach, go get buy-in from your leadership team. And also consider messaging me any “WINS” that you experience because we could all use a little help sharing through the moment (aka: crisis) Step #2 - Centralize your communication hub, so essentially build yourself a CRM. I am using Google Docs. I have created a new, used, and desk-log tab to recreate what we get from eLeads. I have nine managers and seven BDC people all working in one space to maximize our appointment setting capabilities which ultimately leads to selling and delivering cars. Step #3 - identify your lead sources that are accessible outside the CRM - whether in a separate dashboard, email alert, manifest list, etc. and start to make phone calls and add back your updates into your makeshift CRM.
