I'm Excited to co-chair a session on New and Emerging Modalities at HTPD2025 (Uppsala Sweden, May 2025) with my friend and brilliant scientist Felix Wittkopp. This is a great conference, showcasing creative and innovative solutions and tools to speed up process development while increasing information and decreasing process risk. For the New and Emerging Modalities session, we are looking for stories reg. the implementation of HT tools to solve challenges of particular interest to Advanced Therapeutic Medicinal Products (ATMPs), Vaccines, and other high-complexity modalities (such as ADCs). The abstract deadline is approaching in Jan 2025 - please reach out directly with any questions or interest. https://lnkd.in/esKquBK2 Example topics of particular interest include: - Early-stage and/or late-stage process development of ATMP, viral vector, and vaccine products, such as HT scale down model, process optimization, and process characterization case studies. - HT analytical and purification support strategies enabling identification, design, and optimization of critical vector attributes in and vector, cell line, and plasmid engineering. - Integration of HTPD tools and modelling to accommodate and account for heterogeneity in ATMPs and viral vectors. - HT analytical platforms and approaches enabling the identification and optimization of quality attributes specific to ATMPs and viral vectors - HT production platforms for end-to-end production and/or optimization of viral vectors and key reagents including therapeutic vectors, plasmid, cell lines, and other critical materials.
