Enhancing deadlift strength and form can often be as simple as correcting your initial shoulder position.
A common mistake I see a lot of people make is when they go to do a deadlift, they start to lift – but automatically drop their shoulders when they start pulling.
A really easy way to fix this is to pull up on the weight without lifting it, get your shoulders back and lats set, hold there, and THEN stand up with the weight.
This simple fix removes any negative movement and can significantly improve your deadlift strength and technique.
