I grew up in a way where the pay to play model was impacting me. Probably started with as young as I can remember. So I'm the youngest of five, my brother's two years older him and I just love the sport. Joined the team as early as I can remember. Once university played, obviously knew it probably wasn't going to be at the top level as I as I wanted to be. So I wanted to find another pathway into the sport. And then a job at US Soccer came about. So I spent six years there working across the national teams. I worked with men's, the women's team, youth extended national team. So supported all of those, which was a really unique time in my career. I got to learn from a lot of really good and smart people. Allowed me the opportunity to work with 20 coaches almost at the same time, which expanded my knowledge about the game and how I saw it and and how I thought it could be played. When COVID hit, I moved to S Monaco. They wanted someone to oversee the data analysis build out across recruitment analysis and performance. Growing up in the US, you I've watched a lot of games abroad and you always have that. Passion of I want to be involved in that and the the sport over there is obviously it is the center of everything and so I wanted to go and experience that and really challenge myself, especially with the expectations of a club like Monaco. So that was three fantastic years. I got to work with some unbelievable people and learn from them and really expanded how I see the game and how I see the strategy side of football and and how it's run and how it's much more than just a sport. It's a business and there's so many moving factors from that and then when I was there for three years this. Opportunity had Right to Dream came up. There are few and far football organizations that do things for the right reasons and if you look back to the infancy of this group, they do everything for the right reasons. The chance to do it back in the US and to be able to be a part of that was a no brainer for me. But something about this project is just so much more than football and for me that's really important. It's about the legacy that I can leave that lasts for a lifetime. I've gotten to work with some of the best people in this field. I was fortunate enough MY2 prior bosses are now the sporting director at Newcastle and the Sporting Director at. Elsie So I do think I'm ready for this opportunity with the support of everybody else. We want a team that can compete at the highest level. We want a team that that looks like us. We want a team that looks like San Diego. We want a team that looks like right to dream and what we're about. And so we will have a very diverse first team to make sure that we can be successful from the beginning. Sports are about entertainment and our style of play is centered around entertainment. We want to entertain the crowd and you do that by scoring goals to be a sporting director and this organization coming into this city. It's everything you could ever ask for. I've always been told on your first job make sure you choose the right people and there's no doubt in my mind that this group has the right people and that's why I'm so passionate to work for this club and bring a team to this city and and hopefully have a lot of success.
