With many kids struggling with anxiety or depression, the law is a step in the right direction concerning mental health in Wisconsin schools. This course/certification is still to the day of the best trainings I have ever completed. As an athletic trainer it is VITAL for tools of better listening and ways to help athletes. As a BDR it is JUST as vital for really hearing and understanding healthcare organizations needs/pain points. Stress, regardless of age, gender, role, etc. affects us all uniquely and we MUST be able to help and this course taught great ways in doing such. #mentalhealthmatters #mentalhealthinsales

Children flourish when they feel understood. It is vital that we create environments within our settings to ensure that we are meeting need. There has been a huge increase in mental health amongst our young people and we need to provide that calm, safe space where they feel connected. Excellent session from Dr Lesley French at the Safeguarding Network and Anna Freud conference - Safeguarding: Practice and Resilience in Schools.
