One of the technologies we have in our NZ Cloud is VAST Data. At the moment we have a growing interest in secure sovereign data for NZ government agencies. But I'm a media guy, and finding a technology that is built for images at speed with low cost was what first excited me. Ask anyone if there was a technology that could do lossless data reduction 5 years ago and you would have come up with nothing. Not anymore. Having a big client use the technology you have is one of those "proof points" that let you know, you made the right choice. So if you're in NZ and wonder what it's like have fast data at a lower cost, we should catch up.
